Citrus - Ornamental, Garden & Landscape - Handling & Processing - Krome - Vegetable
FSHS requires that author graphics NOT be embedded within the manuscript document. Graphics (figures, pictures, etc.) must be sent as separate files (TIF, EPS, JPG, or PDF) from the manuscript. Label the manuscript and graphics files with the corresponding author's last name, and include the figure number for graphics files. Unlike graphics, tables should be embedded within the manuscript file; submitted as text and not as graphic images. Include contact information for each author (incl. e-mail address and phone number), so that page proofs can be e-mailed for author corrections.
Page charges and how the are handled
- Page charges for authors from the research community will be $60/page.
- Extension agents, growers and other industry members can publish up to 3 pages free of charge. Each page published over this limit will be assessed a $60 fee.
- FSHS will send the invoice for page charges directly to senior authors.
- Senior authors will receive galley proofs via email only. Changes to galley proofs should be kept at a minimum. We think you should know that FSHS is charged $1.25 for each text change made to a galley proof.
- Members will receive a CD containing the Proceedings. Members will also have access to archived Proceedings on the FSHS website.
