Florida has 42 botanical gardens and arboreta (Table 1). These institutions represent an opportunity for the Horticulture industry, including researchers and educational institutions, to gain meaningful access to the general public, especially indi- viduals that have some interest in the subject. These institutions are also well recognized for many aspects that go beyond their beauty; they also represent a significant pool of knowledge and information that cannot be found elsewhere. – Vernon Bryant
