Inservice Training Opportunity and Agenda
This IST addresses the Extension Roadmap High-Priority Initiative #1: Increasing the sustainability, profitability, and competitiveness of agricultural and horticultural enterprises. Most extension personnel and specialty crops producers have only a rudimentary understanding of emerging technologies. Training on this topic will enable IFAS Extension personnel to better understand emerging technologies for agricultural applications and promote adoption of these of state-of-the-art technologies and techniques. It will also enable them to improve profitability and environmental sustainability of Florida’s fruit and vegetable industry.
Intended Audience: UF-IFAS extension agents and specialists and commercial agriculture managers.

Meeting Registration Fees
Registrations are done through the American Society for Horticultural Science
website. Please scroll down on the linked page below and click on the green box marked “Continue as Guest”.
- Professional Registration — $150
- Student Registration — $90
- On or before September 4 = Full refund less a $20 processing fee
- September 5 through September 18 = 75% refund less a $20 processing fee
- September 19 through October 9 = 50% refund less a $20 processing fee
- On or After October 10 = No refund
