Abstract Submissions 

Present your work at the 134th Annual Meeting (September 26-28, 2021) and publish in the annual Proceedings of the Florida State Horticulture Society.

Be sure and fill out the author agreement (below), and attach it when you submit your abstraction.

  • Author Agreement
  • Student Author Agreement

An abstract fee of $75 will be charged on submission of all abstracts.

  • When your abstract has been submitted, you will receive an invoice for the abstract fee (along with payment instructions). Your paper will not be included in the meeting program until the payment has been made.
  • The fee will be deducted from the final invoice for manuscript fees for papers submitted for publication in the FSHS Proceedings.
  • Authors submitting papers to the ASHS journals for publication will receive a refund of their abstract fee if their paper has been accepted for publication before the FSHS Proceedings are ready to be published in the spring of 2022.

Cancellation Policy

  • On or before August 13 = Full refund less a $20 processing fee
  • August 14 to August 27 = 75% refund less a $20 processing fee
  • August 28 to September 17 = 50% refund less a $20 processing fee
  • On or after September 18 = No refunds
