Abstract Submission

The 135th Annual FSHS meeting will be held in Sarasota this year. Showcase your research at this important event. In preparation for this year’s meeting, submit your Abstracts by March 16, 2022. Abstract submission date extended through April 1, 2022.

To submit your full abstract, please fill out this form. There is a $75 abstract submission deposit required. This deposit will be applied to manuscript page charges for the 2022 FSHS Proceedings.  You will receive your invoice for the deposit within 48 hours of submitting your abstract. All fee must be paid in order to be included in the 2022 FSHS Program.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstracts will be due March 16, 2022. Please follow this link.

Abstracts are limited to 400 words; this number does not include title and authors affiliation. A sample of abstracts can be found below:

If your paper is/has been submitted to an ASHS journal, please include a sentence that indicates that the paper is/will be presented at the 20XX Annual Meeting of the Florida State Horticultural Society.

A fee of $75 will be charged on submission of all abstracts.

  • When your abstract has been submitted, you will receive an invoice for the abstract fee (along with payment instructions). Your paper will not be included in the meeting program until payment has been made.
  • The fee will be deducted from the final invoice for manuscript fees for papers submitted for publication in the FSHS Proceedings.
  • Authors submitting papers to the ASHS journals for publication will receive a refund of their abstract fee if their paper has been accepted for publication before the FSHS Proceedings are ready to be published in the spring of 2023.

2021 Conference Program

This conference was on September 26 to 28, 2021 at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort in Daytona Beach, Florida. Highlights included in-service training on improving health and productivity through manipulation of the root-soil environment and a keynote speaker on a horticulturist’s perspective on soil health in practice.
